Sordid was formed April 2005 with founding members Maxx (guitar) and Jay (drums) of Element recruiting bassist Geoff, formerly from Coitus and Stu Crew. They began auditioning vocalists to no avail, until Brendan, drummer from Stikman and Handicapped Superhero, decided to try. As soon as they had their line-up its been show after show terrorizing Northern Va, D.C., and Maryland with their hardcore style metal and on-stage antics. At the end of 05' they stopped the shows and worked on their first demo. They recorded a fan favorite Full Rigor, and unveiled two new songs Demure and Fraudulence. Demure is proving to be the song that captures all the new blood of the band and the crowd can never have enough, while Fraudulence is straight up aggression brought forth through thumping hardcore riffs & beats. The band is now planning on entering the studio to work on their full length release expected to hit your stereos in Spring, 2008.
